North Korean Hacker Group Targets Crypto Developers with New Malware

A group of hackers linked to North Korea, known as Slow Pisces, also called Jade Sleet and PUKCHONG, has been identified as responsible for a campaign of cyberattacks targeting cryptocurrency developers. This campaign, disguised as coding exercises, distributes a new type of malware that steals information. The group is also suspected of being behind the massive hack of Bybit in February 2025. The activity has been attributed to Slow Pisces by Palo Alto Networks Unit 42.
