Unidentified Patients File Lawsuit Over Medical Data Breach by Physiotherapist

Two unidentified patients filed a complaint on April 15 following a medical data breach by a physiotherapist from Lawrence, which targeted more than 400 people, including women who had undergone breast augmentation surgeries and other plastic surgery procedures. The patients are suing KU Health and Kansas Hospital through a class action lawsuit. The breach was reported in documents filed with the United States District Court for Kansas.
