Over 14,000 Fortinet Firewalls Compromised by Attackers

More than 14,000 Fortinet firewalls have been compromised by attackers. The attackers have entrenched themselves in the system using symbolic links (symlinks). The attackers have successfully infiltrated the systems, which could have serious implications for the security of networks protected by these firewalls.
