Cybersecurity Experts Warn of Persistent XorDDoS Malware Threat

Cybersecurity researchers are warning about the persistent risks posed by the distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) malware known as XorDDoS. Between November 2023 and February 2025, 71.3% of attacks targeted the United States. According to Joey Chen, a researcher at Cisco Talos, the prevalence of the XorDDoS trojan has significantly increased from 2020 to 2023.
