CISA Threatens to Reduce CVE Program Support, Extends MITRE Contract

CISA has threatened to reduce support for the CVE program but has ultimately extended the government contract with MITRE for an additional 11 months. After this period, it appears that the private sector will need to find the necessary funds to keep the program running.
