An analysis by iVerify has revealed that 35 countries, including allies of the United States, are using China-based networks to transport mobile user traffic, posing cybersecurity risks. Among the countries involved are Japan, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and others. The Chinese networks involved include China Telecom and Salt Typhoon. The use of these networks could lead to risks of surveillance and compromise of user data.
