The Tribunal of Salerno has ruled that lawyers can no longer exercise the right to access their clients' personal data simply by acting "on behalf and in the name" of their clients. It is now necessary to present a formal delegation, signed by both the lawyer and the client, to prove the right of access. This decision strengthens the evidence requirements for exercising the right to access personal data, in accordance with data protection standards.
