New Malware Campaign Uses Pirated Software to Spread Info-Stealers

A new malware campaign is using pirated versions of software to distribute information stealers such as Lumma and ACR Stealer. According to the AhnLab Security Intelligence Center (ASEC), there has been an increase in the distribution of ACR Stealer since January 2025. A notable feature of this malware is the use of a technique called "dead drop".
