North Korean Lazarus Group Targets South Korean Organizations

The North Korean threat group Lazarus has recently targeted several organizations in the software, IT, finance, and telecommunications sectors in South Korea. Using "watering hole" attacks, Lazarus compromised six companies. The attacks exploited vulnerabilities in specific software to infiltrate the networks of the targeted companies. The impacts include the exfiltration of sensitive data and the installation of malicious software to maintain persistent access.
