Netherlands Accuse Russia of 2024 Cyberattack on Public Infrastructure

The Netherlands have accused Russia of carrying out a cyberattack in 2024, targeting public infrastructure. A group of Russian hackers conducted the first digital sabotage attack against a digital control system in the country, according to Vice Admiral Peter Reesink, director of the MIVD. Additionally, the retailer Boulanger has been the victim of a massive personal data leak since September 2024, affecting nearly 5 million customers. The data of 27 million customers is at risk.
