Scottish Man Extradited to US for Alleged Cybercrimes

Tyler Buchanan, a 23-year-old Scottish man, was extradited from Spain to the United States on Wednesday, April 25, 2025. Buchanan is accused of being a member of the cybercrime group Scattered Spider and of participating in the theft of sensitive data concerning American consumers. He had been arrested the previous year. The impacts include the theft of sensitive data and dozens of victims.
