Microsoft has revealed that the threat group Storm-1977 has conducted "password spraying" attacks against cloud users in the education sector over the past year. These attacks utilize AzureChecker.exe, a command-line interface (CLI) tool used by various malicious actors. Storm-1977 has deployed more than 200 crypto-mining containers.
