Major Imposter Syndrome

The author of the post recently started their first job in cybersecurity (SOC) with only 6 months of prior experience as an IT auditor and is about to obtain their bachelor's degree in cybersecurity. During the onboarding process, the author realizes that the other participants have between 5 and 12 years of prior experience in cyber/IT, which makes them feel overwhelmed and incompetent in comparison. The author describes themselves as the least experienced person and is struggling mentally to manage this feeling, feeling embarrassed and overwhelmed.
