Vulnerability in io_uring Allows Rootkits to Bypass Linux Security Tools

A vulnerability in io_uring allows rootkits to bypass Linux security tools. This flaw, known as CVE-2023-3239, affects Linux kernels 5.15 and later. Commonly used security tools such as SELinux and AppArmor are rendered ineffective by this vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this flaw to execute rootkits, thereby compromising the security of Linux systems.
