Tyler Robert Buchanan, a 23-year-old Scot, presumed member of the cybercrime group Scattered Spider, was extradited last week from Spain to the United States. He is accused of electronic fraud, conspiracy, and identity theft. U.S. prosecutors assert that Buchanan and his co-conspirators hacked dozens of companies in the United States and abroad, and that Buchanan personally controlled more than $26 million stolen from victims.
