Malware Attack Targets Senior Members of World Uyghur Congress in Exile

In March 2025, senior members of the World Uyghur Congress (WUC) living in exile were targeted by a Windows malware capable of conducting surveillance activities. This spear-phishing campaign used a trojanized version of a legitimate open-source text processing and spell-checking tool called UyghurEdit++, developed to support the use of the Uyghur language.
