45 CHS Hospitals Affected by Oracle Health Outage

On April 25, 45 hospitals affiliated with Community Health Systems (CHS) based in Franklin, Tennessee, experienced computer outages after the accidental deletion of storage data related to their Oracle Health electronic health records (EHR). The hospitals had to revert to using paper records for patient documentation. The issue was subsequently resolved.
