South Korean Government Orders SK Telecom to Notify Users of Data Breach

The South Korean government has ordered SK Telecom to notify all users whose personal data may have been exposed following a major hacking incident. This decision, made on Friday, comes in response to an increase in customer complaints. The Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) convened an emergency meeting to address this situation. SK Telecom is also required to provide immediate protection to vulnerable groups.
