This wallet, initially called "active wallet" and now "agentic wallet," uses AI to manage personal and transactional data. Schneier discussed this topic at the RSA Conference, emphasizing the need for trust and integrity in these systems. Visa has also announced a protocol using AI to assist consumers in their purchasing decisions, collaborating with Inrupt to decentralize data. The two companies have been working together for over two years and have set up a sandbox to test agentic wallets.
