A critical vulnerability, CVE-2025-2082, has been discovered in Tesla Model 3 vehicles, allowing a nearby attacker to remotely execute arbitrary code through the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Presented by researchers from Synacktiv at the Pwn2Own Vancouver 2024 hacking competition, this flaw enables the takeover of important functions without any user interaction. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability without the driver doing anything, making it particularly dangerous.
