Cybersecurity researchers have disclosed a series of patched vulnerabilities in Apple's AirPlay protocol that, if successfully exploited, could allow an attacker to take control of devices compatible with this proprietary wireless technology. These flaws, collectively named AirBorne by the Israeli cybersecurity firm Oligo, can be chained together to enable remote code execution without user interaction (zero-click RCE) via public Wi-Fi networks. The potential impacts include taking control of vulnerable devices.
