The FBI has officially attributed the record $1.5 billion hack of Bybit to North Korean threat actors. The agency stated that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) was responsible for the theft of virtual assets from the cryptocurrency exchange platform, attributing it to a specific cluster. Ben Zhou, the CEO of Bybit, declared a "war against Lazarus." The attack was carried out through a compromise of the Safe{Wallet} supply chain.
