Scammers are using fake AI tools and Facebook advertisements to spread the Noodlophile Stealer malware. This campaign targets users by making them believe they are downloading legitimate AI tools, when in reality they are installing the malware. Noodlophile Stealer is designed to steal sensitive information such as passwords, cookies, and cryptocurrency data. The cybersecurity company Morphisec discovered this campaign and reported that the malicious ads redirect users to fraudulent websites hosting the malware. Users are prompted to download ZIP files containing malicious executables. This distribution method demonstrates an evolution in the social engineering techniques used by cybercriminals.
