Germany Shuts Down eXch Cryptocurrency Exchange for Money Laundering

On April 30, 2025, the German Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt or BKA) seized the online infrastructure and shut down the cryptocurrency exchange platform eXch, which is accused of money laundering and operating a criminal trading platform. Authorities also confiscated 8 terabytes of data and cryptocurrency assets.
