On April 30, 2025, the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) shut down the cryptocurrency exchange platform eXch (eXch.cx), seizing its infrastructure due to allegations of money laundering and illegal trading. The operation was conducted by the BKA, the ZIT (Central Office for Combating Internet Crime), and the Dutch FIOD. Authorities expect to find additional evidence from the seized data.
