FBI and Dutch Police Dismantle Major Proxy Services and Botnet

The FBI and Dutch police have dismantled two major proxy services, Anyproxy and 5Socks, as part of an international operation called "Operation Moonlander." This action has neutralized a massive botnet. Fourteen individuals will be tried for fraud in Lyon on June 16, 2025, following incidents of fraud and identity theft involving the bank accounts of temporary workers employed by Adecco in 2022.
