New Phishing Campaign Targets Latin America with Horabot Malware

Cybersecurity researchers have uncovered a new phishing campaign distributing the Horabot malware, targeting Windows users in six Latin American countries: Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Argentina. The campaign employs sophisticated emails mimicking invoices or financial documents to entice victims into opening malicious attachments. Horabot is capable of stealing emails.
