A consensus was reached during a hearing at the United States House of Representatives to reauthorize the 2015 Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act) before its expiration in September. Both witnesses and legislators agreed on the need to keep the law in effect, while considering future improvements. Among the participants were members of the House Homeland Security Committee and the House Intelligence Committee, as well as representatives from the Information Technology Industry Council and the National Technology Security Coalition.
