Coinbase Reveals Insider Bribery Leading to Customer Data Theft

Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange platform in the United States, has disclosed that cybercriminals bribed insiders to steal customer data. Some of these customers were subsequently deceived and handed over their cryptocurrency assets. In response, Coinbase turned a $20 million ransom demand into a reward to obtain information about the attackers.
