Senator Mark Warner Urges Continued Identity Protection for OPM Data Breach Victims

Senator Mark Warner has urged the acting director of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to ensure the continuity of identity protection services for the more than 21 million people affected by the 2015 data breach. Warner expressed concerns about the possibility that DOGE might end these protections. The 2015 OPM data breach exposed the personal information of millions of individuals, including federal employees and contractors.
