What’s Your Preferred Free Vulnerability Scanner?

The author of the post compares three vulnerability scanners: Wazuh, OpenVAS (Greenbone), and the trial version of Nessus Pro. Wazuh displays a large number of vulnerabilities, often outdated, without filtering options, making it difficult to manage and prioritize vulnerabilities. OpenVAS offers a filtering option via QoD, but its coverage is less comprehensive than Nessus, which detects about 70% more vulnerabilities. The author's team could not choose between these options for production use due to their respective drawbacks.
