A new and extremely dangerous botnet named Aisuru has surfaced, causing serious alarm in the cybersecurity world. During a test attack, it reached 6.3 Tbps, which is ten times more than the 2016 Mirai botnet. This attack targeted security journalist Brian Krebs and was described by Google's DDoS protection team as the largest they have ever mitigated. Aisuru hijacks unsecured IoT devices for DDoS-for-hire services, which are sometimes marketed on platforms like Telegram for as little as $150 per day.
