Open Source Release: OpenVulnScan – A Lightweight Vulnerability Scanner

OpenVulnScan is an open-source vulnerability management platform built with FastAPI, designed to handle agent-based scans, unauthenticated Nmap discovery scans, ZAP scans for detecting OWASP web vulnerabilities, CVE searches and enrichments, as well as PDF report generation. The platform includes a modern and lightweight web user interface with user authentication, ideal for homelab users, cybersecurity researchers, small teams, and developers. The project is evolving and seeks testers and feedback, particularly from blue teams, developers, homelab users, and red teams. Contributions in the form of bug reports, feature requests, or improvements are welcome.
