Fake Job Posting... What's the End Game?

The author applied for a remote Cyber Security Analyst position on LinkedIn and quickly received a response asking to confirm their interest, followed by 20 interview/selection questions. Several red flags were noted, including the name used, the email address with "HR" in the URL, the apparent non-existence of the company AUST Manufacturing, and the recent creation of the domain. After submitting the answers, the author received a job offer with a request for a mailing address to send a check to purchase approved equipment.
