
Czech Republic Accuses China-Linked Cybercriminals of Targeting Foreign Ministry

The Czech Republic has officially accused a group of cybercriminals linked to the People's Republic of China (PRC) of targeting its Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In a public statement, the government identified China as responsible for a malicious campaign targeting one of the non-classified networks of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The extent of the breach is currently not known. The attack occurred in 2022 and was attributed to the APT31 group, known for its ties to China.
