Global Operation Disrupts AVCheck and Associated Encryption Services

The AVCheck service and associated encryption services, which helped cybercriminals make malware difficult to detect and ensured that these malicious programs could go undetected by various antivirus tools, were disrupted in a global operation. These services allowed cybercriminals to verify if their malware could evade detection by antivirus tools. The operation was conducted by government agencies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI, in collaboration with other international organizations.
