Germany Identifies Leader of Trickbot and Conti Cybercrime Groups

The Federal Criminal Police Office of Germany (Bundeskriminalamt or BKA) has identified the leader of the cybercrime groups Trickbot and Conti as Vitaly Nikolaevich Kovalev, a 36-year-old Russian. Kovalev, known under the pseudonym Stern, is accused of heading these two notorious groups. The BKA revealed this information as part of its efforts to dismantle these criminal networks.
