
Google to Distrust Digital Certificates from Chunghwa Telecom and Netlock

Google has announced that it will no longer trust digital certificates issued by Chunghwa Telecom and Netlock due to "concerning behavior patterns observed over the past year." These changes will be introduced in Chrome 139, with a public release scheduled for early August 2025. The current major version is 137. The update will affect all Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols.
