Comparing Defender for Endpoint and Rapid 7 Insight VM for Cost Reduction

The author needs to reduce costs while maintaining a strong security posture for a small business with 37 users, primarily on Azure. They currently use Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Rapid 7 Insight VM for vulnerability management, along with other tools such as Arctic Wolf, Elastic Security, Snyk, and Traceable. The author is considering whether it is wise to eliminate Rapid 7 Insight VM, given that the results are similar to those of Defender for Endpoint and the infrastructure will soon be fully on Azure.
