CISA, FBI, and Australian Cyber Security Centre Update Guidance on Play Ransomware

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the FBI, and the Australian Signals Directorate’s Australian Cyber Security Centre (ASD’s ACSC) have released an update regarding the Play ransomware, also known as Playcrypt. This update highlights new tactics, techniques, and procedures used by the Play ransomware group and provides updated indicators of compromise (IOCs) to enhance threat detection. Since June, new information has been added to help organizations better protect themselves against this threat.
