Since February 2022, nearly a fifth of Ukraine's internet space has come under Russian control or has been sold to internet address brokers, according to a new study. Large portions of Ukraine's internet address space are now in the hands of proxy and anonymity services hosted by some of the largest U.S. internet service providers (ISPs). The technical details mention Internet Protocol Version 4. The described impacts include the loss of control over a significant part of Ukraine's internet space.
