On May 28, 2025, the Indian Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested six individuals and dismantled two illegal call centers in Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. These centers were involved in a transnational technical support scam targeting Japanese citizens. Raids were conducted at 19 different locations.
