Google Patches Vulnerability Exposing Phone Numbers Linked to Accounts

A vulnerability allowed researchers to brutally force the recovery phone number of any Google account by simply knowing the profile name and an easily retrievable part of the phone number. This flaw posed a significant risk for phishing and SIM-swapping attacks. Google has patched this vulnerability to protect user information.
