Flaw in DTResearch UEFI Applications Allows Secure Boot Bypass on Many Devices

A vulnerability in DTResearch's UEFI applications allows bypassing Secure Boot on numerous devices. This flaw can be exploited in BYOVD (Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver) attacks to disable Secure Boot, a critical security feature that verifies system integrity at startup. The vulnerable UEFI applications from DTResearch can thus be used to compromise the security of industrial devices.
