
Researchers Access Over 40,000 Unsecured Surveillance Cameras Worldwide

Researchers from Bitsight have successfully accessed the feeds of more than 40,000 surveillance cameras connected to the Internet worldwide. Among these unsecured cameras, over 14,000 are located in the United States and around 7,000 in Japan. In Austria, the Czech Republic, and South Korea, approximately 2,000 accessible cameras were discovered, while in Germany, Italy, and Russia, this number is around 1,000.
