Meta Platforms Announces Passkey Support for Facebook

Meta Platforms announced on June 25, 2025, the addition of support for passkeys, the new password standard, on Facebook. Passkeys are a method of identity verification and login that is more secure than traditional passwords. This feature will soon be available on Android and iOS mobile devices.
