Proposed Class Action Settlement in Netgain Technology Data Breach Litigation

A proposed class action settlement has been announced in the case of In re Netgain Technology, LLC, Consumer Data Breach Litigation, Case No. 21-cv-1210, before the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. The plaintiffs allege that the data incident occurred between September 2020 and November 2020 when a ransomware attack took place. CPT Group, Inc., has announced this proposed settlement. The initial incident was reported in 2020.
