
Patients Allege Home Delivery Pharmacy Failed to Timely Notify Them of Data Breach

In January 2021, a home delivery pharmacy located in Massachusetts experienced a data breach. The breach was discovered in May 2021 and affected more than 75,000 customers, whose personally identifiable information (PII), including names and social security numbers, was compromised. In February 2022, nine months after the discovery of the breach, patients alleged that the pharmacy had not informed customers in a timely manner.
