Battlefords Union Hospitals Notifies Patients of Employee Snooping in Their Records

Between October 1, 2024, and April 4, 2025, an employee of Battlefords Union Hospitals in Canada illegitimately accessed the MedAccess electronic medical records system to view personal and medical information of hundreds of patients. The employee in question was an operating room scheduler. The affected patients have been notified of this data breach.
