LapDogs Cyber Espionage Campaign Compromises Over 1,000 SOHO Devices

A cyber espionage campaign, named LapDogs, has compromised more than 1,000 SOHO (small office/home office) devices. This operation, linked to China, was discovered by SecurityScorecard's STRIKE team. The infected devices formed a hidden network called the Operational Relay Box (ORB Network), used to support cyber espionage activities. The attack is associated with the hacker group UAT-5918.
